Your day.Now with a duck.
FernanDuck is a pixel-art duck who lives on your iPhone. He talks, has opinions, keeps you company when you need to focus, and always has something going on in his own life.
For iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later.
Coming to the App Store on November 8.

Do you mind? I'm busy looking busy.I brought the book. You bring the focus.Mm… five more minutes, please…
A demo with lines from the app. On your iPhone, he reacts to your actual day. Tap again for another line.
He has things to say. And opinions.
Tell him about your day, ask for help getting started, or just chat. He remembers what you told him and answers in the tone you choose.
I need to study, but I keep stalling.

Company for the little in-between moments.
He doesn't need the app open to be around.
Dynamic Island
During a focus session, on iPhones with Dynamic Island.
Lock Screen
With the session's Live Activity, no unlocking needed.
Widgets
On your Home Screen, doing whatever he's doing right now.
Illustrations. The real look follows iOS.
When you need it, he helps too.

Starting a task
Pick study, work or rest, and for how long. He studies along, stays quiet while you focus, and celebrates at the end. Stopping early has no penalty.
Getting something off your mind
Ask him to remember something and he suggests a reminder. Nothing is created until you confirm.

Wrapping up the day
On your nightstand, he shows your next alarm and goes to sleep with you.
He dances to what you play.
With Apple Music playing, the duck changes his outfit and his dance to match the genre.
Band tee and a lot of headbanging.Leather hat and a little side step.Shades and wings in the air.Backwards cap and a head bob.Panama hat and samba feet.Striped beanie and a slow sway.Bow tie, conducting with one wing.

- During a focus session he only changes clothes and stays focused. If he's asleep, he complains about the music.
- Works with Apple Music, with your permission: other apps don't tell the iPhone what's playing. He reads the genre on your device and keeps nothing.
- You can also ask the Assistant for a song. He finds it in Apple Music and plays it once you confirm.
He has his own life, too.
When you head out, he comes along. When you stop, he makes the most of it. And every finished focus session leaves something new in his home.

Walks down the street with you.

Takes the car when you drive.

Waits for the flight at the airport.

Travels in comfort.

Takes bubble baths.

Wakes up in a good mood. Sometimes.
He dresses up for the holidays.
Halloween
Christmas
New Year
Festa Junina
Carnival
Easter
He doesn't die, doesn't starve and doesn't guilt you. Gone for a week? He just wants to know how you are.
The duck keeps secrets.
Some things only happen at the right time, in the right way. We won't tell you which. Neither will he.
And there's more. When it happens, you'll know.

Why FernanDuck?
FernanDuck was born at home. The name is a tribute to Fernando, the creator's son, who loves ducks.
Questions
Where does it work?
On iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later. The Dynamic Island appears on iPhones that have one.
Is there an Android version?
No. FernanDuck is made only for iPhone and iPad.
Does he dance to Spotify?
No. Dancing works only with Apple Music, because other apps don't tell the iPhone what's playing.
Do I need Apple Intelligence?
No. With Apple Intelligence, the conversation runs on your device. Without it, you can use your own API key or stick with his handwritten lines.
Do I need an account?
No. FernanDuck has no accounts and no servers.
Does the duck show up on top of other apps?
No. Outside the app, he appears where iOS allows: widgets, the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island.
What data is sent?
Only anonymous usage data, like which features you use, and only if you allow it at the start (you can change it in Settings). Never what you write or say to the duck. If you set up an AI provider, the text you type goes straight from your device to that provider.

Your next companion has a beak.
He's already awake. More or less.
